All of the above inspections are performed using the TREC standards of practice and the report is done using the state mandated form REI_7-5. Infrared scan using a 320X240 resolution IR camera and foundation benchmark elevations with a Zip Level Pro2000 are included with these inspections at no extra cost.
New Construction Phase Inspections
The state mandates a pre pour, pre cover and final inspection on all new construction single family homes. What the state does not mandate is who performs these inspections. The builder hires and pays for these inspections. Without hiring your own private inspector during the construction of your new home you may never get a thourough inspection of the property. "Drive by Dave" or "Green tag Gary" working for the inspection firm hired by the builder may have a dozen or more inspections scheduled on the day he's inspecting your home. Can you be confident these inspectors are working for you? At HCHI our inspectors will NEVER have more than two inspections per day. This ensures our customers we will not be rushing through your property to get to our next inspection. We offer the same three inspections the state mandates and you can have 100% confidence your home will be inspected completely and unbiased. We can not be fired by the builder for calling out too many defects or sub standard workmanship.
